The Andrew Reyes Memorial Fund was founded in memory of Andrew Reyes, who grew up in the Kansas City area and had a passion for both playing sports and supporting youth sports whenever he had the opportunity. To keep is memory alive, The Andrew Reyes Memorial Fund was created and several initiatives developed, focusing on giving all kids the chance to participate in youth recreation. Our mission is to enhance youth lives through sports while building positive community relationships and providing resources to those in need.
About Us
Specifically, the Andrew Reyes Memorial continues to seek out diversified funding to support our three initiatives:
- The Andrew Reyes Memorial Scholarship: Supporting low/moderate-income Senior students, or Senior student families who are experiencing financial hardship, to afford their final tuition payment at local High Schools.
- Just Give ‘Em the Ball: Youth sports league partnerships/scholarships to help parents/kids afford youth sports or help them pay for equipment.
- Just Keep Playing: Supports the renovation of dilapidated basketball courts in under-served communities.
